Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a portfolio of care-based businesses.
• Reconcile accounts, process transactions, and prepare monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate with CPAs, clients, and internal teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Review and categorize expenses, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence.
• Assist in the preparation of tax documents and audit materials.
• Contribute to process improvements and the development of new financial tools and workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a client-facing or multi-entity environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and spreadsheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with both clients and team members.
• Desire to learn, adapt, and contribute to a fast-growing, mission-driven company.
• Bonus: Experience with care-based businesses or regulatory compliance.
